- Aattachamayam
The festival of Attachamayam is held on the Atham day of the Malayalam month of Chingam (August/ September), at the historical town of Tripunithura, near Kochi.

- Ambalapuzha Temple
The ancient Sree Krishna Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna is situated 8 miles south of Alappuzha. This temple is famous throughout Kerala for the milk porridge, 'Palpayasam' served here.

- Ambalavayal Heritage Museum
Location:
12 km south of Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad district.
Visiting Hours : 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

- Arjuna Nritham
Arjuna nritham (the dance of Arjuna) is a ritual art performed by men and is prevalent in the Bhagavathy temples of Kerala. Arjuna, the most valiant of the five heroic brothers - the Pandavas - of the epic Mahabharatha, was also a renowned singer and dancer and is said to have propitiated goddess Bhadrakaali by a devotional presentation.

- Bolghatty Island

- Chottanikkara Temple
Chottanikkara temple, located near Ernakulam enshrines Bhagawati - the mother Goddess, one of the most popular deities in Kerala. Enroute is the Poornatrayesa temple at Tripunittura.

- Ernakulam Wildlife Sanctuary
The sanctuary was designed by Dr.Salim Ali, the renowned omithologist. He is reported to have identified 167 birds and his student, Dr. Sugathan, 207, In addition, the Bombay Natural History Society has identified 253 species here.

- Guruvayoor Temple
Guruvayoor, where the famous Sree Krishna Temple is situated, is one of the most sacred and important pilgrim centres of kerala.

- The Hill Palace Museum
Location : 10 km from Ernakulam town,central Kerala.

- Idukki Hill Station
A landlocked district, Idukki is one of the most nature rich areas of Kerala. The high range and wooded valleys are girded by three main rivers - Periyar, Thalayar and Thodupuzhayar - and their tributaries. The river Pamba also has its origin here.

- Indira Gandhi Boat Race
Jagannatha Festival is a colourful eight-day festival, which is held in the Malayalam month of Kumbham (February/ March) at the Jagannatha Temple at Madathiparambu, near Thalassery in Kannur.

- Indo-Portuguese Museum
The Indo-Portuguese Museum situated in Fort Kochi throws light on the strong Portuguese influence in both the art and the architecture of the region.

- Jagannatha Festival

- Kakkarissi Natakom
Kakkarissi natakom is a satirical dance-drama based on the puranic legends of Lord Siva and his consort Parvati when they assumed human forms as Kakkalan and Kakkathi - a nomadic tribe of fortune tellers.

- Kalpathy Temple
The Vishwanatha Swamy shrine, the oldest Shiva temple is situated 3 kms from Palakkad. The annual chariot temple is a gala event.

- Kannur Hill Station
(65 km from Kannur town): This enchanting hill staion, situated 4,500 ft. above sea level near the Kerala - Karnataka border is rich in flora and fauna. It is a six kilometer trek to the top of the hills.

- Kathakali Dance
Kerala owes its transnational fame to this nearly 300 years old classical dance form which combines facets of ballet, opera, masque and the pantomime. It is said to have evolved from other performing arts like Kootiyattam, Krishnanattam and Kalarippayattu.

- Kavadiyattom
Kavadiyattam, a colourful ritual art, is a votive offering to Sree Subramanya. Basically of Tamil origin, Kavadiyattam is widely prevalent in the Subramanya temples all over Kerala during the festival seasons.

- Kollam Wildlife Sanctuary
Pathanapuram taluk, 66 km from Kollam town on the Kollam - Shencotta road. The Shenduruny forest was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1984. The Name Shenduruny comes from an endemic species of tree called Chenkuruny (gluta travancoria), mainly confined to this region. The artificial lake formed by the parappar dam built across the shenduruny and kulathupuzha rivers occupies the central region of the sanctuary.

- Mattancherry Palace
Location : Mattancherry, 10 km from Ernakulam.
Visiting hours: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on all days except Fridays.
Built by the Portuguese in 1557 and presented to Raja Veera Kerala Varma of Kochi, the Palace was renovated in 1663 by the Dutch.

- Mohiniyattom
The sinuous dance of the enchantress, this is a distinctive classical dance form of Kerala. Slow, graceful, swaying movements of the body and limbs and highly emotive eye and hand gestures are unique to this dance form.

- Nelliyampathy Hill Station
A forest range 75 kms ( travel time: 2 ½ hours) from Palghat, the Nelliyampathy hillls comprise a chain of ridges cut off from one another by valleys of dense evergreen forests and orange plantations. The height of the hills ranges from 467 metres to the tallest peak Padagiri loomig at 1572 metres.

- Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary
The Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary has a unique feature as far as the vegetation is concerned and the grasslands are a sight to be sen and explored.This wildlife sanctuary is home to elephants, sloth bear, Nilgiri Tahr, jungle cat, wild boar, Nilgiri Langur, etc.

- Niranam Church
Location: Thodikkulam Siva temple, about 2 km from Kannavam near Thalasserry on the way to Mananthavadi, Kannur district, north Kerala.

- Palakkad Hill Station
(50 km from Kozhikode): Famous for its trekking tracks, Tusharagiri, is located near Vythiri in Wayanad. Treakkers start early in the morning grom the second waterfall at Tusharagiri and climb uphill through the pristine, evergreen dense dorests populated with exotic birds and wild animals to reach Vythiri by evening.

- Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary
Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary is on the Thiruvnanthapuram-Ponmudi road and is is accessible from Vithurai.This park has a wide variety of birds like the Darter, Little Cormorant, Pied Kingfisher and Egret, and is fast emerging as a big attraction for wildlife enthusiasts.

- Peermade Hill Station
Clouds drop gently on the peaks that flank the verdant slopes of Peermade. Rich with mile upon mile of plantation s falling away in precise steps.

- Sree Chitra Art Gallery
Open 1000 - 1645 hrs. Closed on Mondays & Wednesday forenoons) Located near the Napier Museum, this art gallery displays select paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, Svetlova and Nicholas Roerich and exquisite works from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools of art in India. - Thodikkulam Temple
Location: Thodikkulam Siva temple, about 2 km from Kannavam near Thalasserry on the way to Mananthavadi, Kannur district, north Kerala.

- Thullal
Thullal is a solo performance combining the dance and recitation of stories in verse. Staged during temple festivals, the performer explicates the verses through expressive gestures.

- Velakali
Velakali is a spectacular martial dance performed in a few temples of Southern Kerala by Nair warriors holding wooden swords and shields.

- Wayanad Hill Station
